My first C-10, 1971 Cheyenne

Hello.... I just bought my first c-10... its a 1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne. I am very excited about getting started. The gentleman I bought the truck from had started a wood bed conversion on it but never finished. I am not ready to do a complete restoration on the truck and am looking for just some lumber to install in the bed to make it functional. I just can't afford another 500 for new wood right now... i need the truck to be functional for now. Any ideas?

BTW.. Great Forum... New member, bt have found several post helpful already.

Thanks

Welcome to the board from sunny Seattle, WA! There is a very good link to the exact bed wood dimensions on GMCPaul's website. He is a board member and has published the exact dimensions if you want to make your own boards. Check it out...and good luck!
