Okay first of all if this is illegal I apoligize up front.

But is there a way to reset our speedometers w/o damaging them and still be functional again?

Thanks.

Re: Resetting Speedometers

I have reset a bunch for restored trucks speedo's for people after they have the truck built. As long as you tell people and have the milage wrote down stating it then you should be fine. I have this one for sale in the parts area.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Resetting Speedometers

not illegal at all. When I did the title on my longhorn, I told them straight up... it had 32 miles showing on it. Told her I rolled it back myself.
She tried givin me a lecture and telling me I was gonna do time and blah blah blah.
Told her to get her manager.
I walked out a free man, with my new title, and an apology from both the girl and her boss.

Our trucks are so old, I don't even pay attention to the odometer.
