New here been spying for a while though..
Hello all finally got recommitted to an old friend. I bought my 1967 SWB fleetside when I was 15 from a friend of my dads. I lost my dad when I was 18. But I still have the truck and it obviously means a great deal to me. I bought it with a 305/th350 combo. I bought a crate long block 350 with cast iron heads and 4 bolt mains. Added 700r4 from a 1986 camaro (had it rebuilt) added Lokar shifter and trans cooler.
Lowered with springs from Early Classic. Had new interior stitched up. Added few Autometer gauges, relocated tank with Blazer kit from Brothers. And a few other things I probably cannot remember. She has been sitting around a few years now...but no more. I am setting things up to pull the cab and have it cleaned so I can really address the rust issue. Searching for fellow BRAVE SOULS whom have completed this successfully. Any tips ( I have DVD's coming) : |

Re: New here been spying for a while though..
My only tip is to jump in and do it. Make sure you know how it goes back together.
Sounds like a nice truck you have there. Welcome.

Re: New here been spying for a while though..
Thank you for the warm welcome fine gent's. I have owned my project for 16 years and the cool thing is parts and info keep becoming more available. Guess we are were not so crazy driving the rust buckets now were we....perhaps the critics are just jealous
