Progress Pics
Well I put the motor in last weekend and set the money pit on the ground on four wheels for the first time in months. I have some glitches to iron out but it is definitely motivational to see it coming together.

I did talk to Edelbrock about that intake though and they said those runners hanging over like you saw was a common problem and to just grind them down some. I matched the gaskets up with the holes and ground off everthing above the gasket. I think it will work out fine. Here is a before and after.
