Question 1978 1 Ton Chevrolet Pickup Question

Hey,

Great forum!

Got a question.

I just bought a 78 Chevy Tow Truck with a Holmes 440 on it.

The truck has a 454, and duals in the back.

Is it a C-30?

Here's a picture:

Thanks, Geo

Until '87 that is. My 87 1 ton is a V30. In 87 GM switched the K out for a V, and an C out for an R.

87 4wd 3/4 ton = V20....87 2wd 3/4 ton = R20
