Attn 73-87 midwest guys
It looks as if I am heading to Oklahoma in a couple weeks with a friend to pick up a truck he purchased. I am looking for a clean fleetside shortbed up here with no luck, and thought I would see if anyone here has any leads on one in OK, KS, MO, etc...basically anywhere between OK and MN.
Also, we would like to stop at any local junkyards along the way, yards that have 70's and older stuff...with en emphasis on 70's Chevy and Dodge trucks. So if you know of one, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

From what I gather, central Oklahoma. I don't know the exact city though...but will try to find out.
EDIT: Found out, the city is Piedmont.

However children's dentist stuff is cutting in my truck budget! That's ok though! There are a couple of them here in the OKC area, but they need some work. Its too bad youre not looking for a whole truck... I was in Alexandria MN this weekend and saw one of the cleanest original looking 77 chevy shortboxes ever. It was for sale at a used car lot for $7500 with about 35K miles. If I had the cash I would swoop it up in a heartbeat!
