Anybody ever use this kit? Pics Inside

Just wondered if anyone has used this A/C kit from Southern Rods (Maxi I kit) in one of our trucks. If so how does it fit, work, etc.

I think its a universal (Street Rod Kit) but it says that it doesnt need Vacuum which seems kinda cool. Im seriously thinkin bout goin this route, comes with everything you need to hook it up and it says you can get the compressor chromed out for free, plus it WAAAY cheaper than goin the Vintage Air route if it will work. Heres a link to their site http://www.southernrods.com/brand.ph...ooling+Systems

ttt

Im curios about this as well, Im trying to decide Vintage Air - Classic Air and now this one. Vintage air you can get for about 1K Classic for 1200, so 500 would be really good.

Re: Anybody ever use this kit? Pics Inside

I guess no one has used it, I may call them today and ask if they have an idea which kit is best suited for our trucks. I saw where one of the kits said "This makes it a perfect kit in cramped quarters like 30's and 40's cars and most pickups." That was the Maxi I kit, which measures 10 1/2" x 8" x 19" and its $754.00 bucks. But if I could get away with the $500 dollar one that'd be better.
Would one of you guys with Vintage air mind measuring the the box thats under the dash? That will tell us how close they are in comparison.
