Looked for 6 mos.

Missed a few trucks on CL but scored this one. '68 c10 LWB fleetside.

Stats: Completely rebuilt 305 out of an '86 Monte Carlo, cast-steel crank, crank and rods shot-peaned, block and heads shaved, Edlebrock 2101 intake, headers into glass packs, cam a stage or two below a stump, Roch. Q-JET, new rear brakes, new tires......all for 1K. Thought it was a pretty good deal. I'm from Austin, MN right now but my heart is still in FL. Anybody here from the FWB/P'cola area? I used to be a boater, now a trucker, and yep, I'm new here.

Welcome to the board - from Colorado! Yep, somehow, looking at that snow it seems like Florida would have a certain attraction!

Nice looking truck and great price!

I have to ask... what the heck is in the bed... it almost looks photoshopped in, even though I'm sure it's not.

Re: Looked for 6 mos.

That's more bed sheet metal in the bed. just picked it up today. Austin, MN is south of Minneapolis about 90 miles. As far as the rust goes, you should see the other side. I always try and park it with the good side showing

Found it in Hutchinson. I bet there's a lot of unknown treasures on some of the farms between here and there. From Albert Lea? we should swap war stories some day.

This is hands-down the best message board on the net as far I'm concerned for that reason. People truly want to help others here, and that really isn't the case on a lot of other forums.
