Not that I have heard of, and was just thinking the same thing today. Dopping a 68 swb onto a 77 swb. I suppose anything can be done.

4x4's are doable and pretty easy.

I see it done on 4wd frames.I don`t know why anyone would want to do it with a 2wd.The frames have some differences, but are basically the same.I don`t see any advantage. You`ll lose the coil suspension.I know the cab needs raised 2" for the bed to line up.So,4wd swaps are always higher than stock. The frame is longer in front, too.I`m not sure how you`d do the bumper.

Re: 67-68 to 73-87???

reposition the rear axle forward to make it back to the correct wheelbase, custom lift kit, probably fab up body mounts here and there.
On a 2 wheel drive it would look retarded. A 67 - 72 frame is flat, the 73 to date frames are not flat, that's why you need the custom lift kit.
