I've been looking for a set of these and found two of them at least. They are 8-lug 15-inch slots! First 15-inch, 8-lugs I have run across! Now it will probably take me 5 years to find two more...LOL!

hey mike... make sure they clear your drums or calipers (obviously depending on what you are installing them on) before mounting better looking rubber on them.
I know I've fallen for that in the past... thought some rims would fit, had them blasted, painted up, mounted rubber on them, and then they were rubbing the brake calipers.
Man was I p!ssed.

And I have just the opposite of that, I have two 5 lug 16.5x8.25 slots!!! I have never seen them in this combo!

TOO FUNNY! I am going to pull one of my 16.5's this evening to make sure they fit. The back spacing looks shallow so I might see some tire outside the fender. No problem on a 4x4 but will look '70's on a 2x4. My BFG 33 x 12.5 x 16.5 tires are up to $198/each...ouch!

Mike ,,I had a set on my 73 back in the day you had to be careful when putting the wheel weights on so that the disc brakes didn't rub them off.. It was a location problem with the strip weights ,, I like em again ,,nice find,, papa Larry

I have a set of 8-lug, 16.5 x 10 slots that I ran on my K5 Blazer with 1-ton running gear. A 15-inch rim would not have cleared the drake drums in the rear, or the brake calipers up front (1-ton and 3/4 ton front axles typically run a larger diameter rotor than the 1/2-ton stuff). Never seen any 8-lug 1/2-ton set-ups before.

You can grind the calipers down to make them fit, 4x4 guys have been doing it for years, they will fit over a 14bolt rear even with the big brakes no problem, you will have to grind the front calipers to run them, its not much at all. I had to do the same to run my 40" boggers. Summit sells the 15" steel wheels as well if you need some

Did you try Discount tire? I thought they were a little cheaper there.

An old name for these just came to mind,"Dish Mags".Does anyone else recall that name?I don`t know about the proiles on those rims,but the steel 15" 8-luggers clear the calipers with minor caliper grinding.

Hang it up.Ypou`ll never find two more.They look like trailer wheel material to me.

I bought a set of White spokes in 8-lug 15", ordered them, i had a 3/4 ton rear in my 59 Apache, but didn't/couldn't find decent performance rubber in 16.5 so I used the 15" 8-lug to get a decent 15" performance rubber on the rear, it was a drum brake truck and I was told they probably wouldn't clear disks?? This was about 15-18 years ago, man I feel old all the sudden?!

UPDATE...I've been sick for a couple of days. Those 15's fit fine on the rear and clear on the front as well with '72 calipers but will need the weights moved. I'll put them on the trailer until I find two more.

Back in the day I had 15-inch rims welled on 8-lug centers for about $30/ea! Now Stockton Wheel and Wheel Vintiques want about $150+/ea for those.

I have heard those called both Indy slots and Ansen slots.
