Support Bearing...what way round??
I have made a note of the one I removed, but just incase the old one had not been installed correctly I thought i'd double check with you guys.
This way? Or this way?

Mine has the other bearing sorry I can't help you. I would think it would be the second picture though.

yes, only in needs to be farther down the shaft.

Thanks Andy & Justin....your guesses would correspond with the way the original was installed.
My wife said it needed to be further down the shaft too

IIRC the flare on the rubber goes to the rear. use a piece of pipe the is the same size as the inner race to drive it on the shaft fully.

Thats a good idea for fitting this, thanks for the heads up sneakysnake . I was going down the route of finding somewhere or somebody with a press to get this thing back on, didn't mind destroying the old one getting it off.
