There's a whole lot more to a truck than the color. This one's pretty hot.

I'll bet he doesn't have to compete with many other rides in the "PINK" class.
As said above the paint is only a portion of what a truck is.Also it may be a budget thing. His wife may have only allowed the $$$ if he painted it in her choice of colors.

Thats a pretty nice truck. Not much for the color, but that could be an easy fix. Overall the truck looks well put together. Looks like a fighter jet with all the gauges, pretty cool.

Re: Didnt this use to be a members truck? (68 SWB, pink, lowered, 20's)
I have nothing bad to say at all about the truck except 2 things, WHY PINK and there are so many gauges I think it takes away from the rest of the interior.

Re: Didnt this use to be a members truck? (68 SWB, pink, lowered, 20's)
Hell I think that's a good looking truck and the colors not bad either. It's more of a salmon color as someone above mentioned and it doesn't have the disgusting factor that hot pink does. I actually somewhat like the color.

I've always loved everything about that truck. Especially the interior! All the gauges, and all of them serve their purpose.

Re: Didnt this use to be a members truck? (68 SWB, pink, lowered, 20's)
Shane,
What so strange about my bed cover? They are built here in the Carolina's. They serve my needs to use my truck for a daily driver for the gas tank and for suite cases when I travel. I can lock it also. I'm not knocking his truck, it's Beautiful. As you said personal taste I guess thirdstreettito, I'm saying there are to many to look at while driving, one can only look at so many and still keep a eye on the road!

I would agree that is a lot of gauges. But on the other hand. You don't need to keep an eye on all the gauges. It looks like 4 of the 5 air gauges are for the bags and the 5th maybe for the tanks. Either way that truck is bad a$$. I could only wish mine will look half as good as that one.

I love how some like to pick others trucks apart but then get overly defensive when someone points out something less than flattering about there's. Such as solid vent windows.

Re: Didnt this use to be a members truck? (68 SWB, pink, lowered, 20's)
It is a beautiful truck. I love the old ac pump turned air compressor. I love the gauges and the switch panel. I even kind of like the color.
Anybody can pick apart my rusty crap, there is a lot to point out on mine too. But I have a very little $$$ in my truck, and it works hard for a living. I would have made sure the horn was hooked up to get rid of the $5.00 napa "help" horn button, and hacked out a trip piece to cover the gap around the radio. I guess I just expect more than that on a high dollar build like that. The devil is in the details. It is an extremely well crafted and beautiful truck.

Did you ever live in levelland ???? I actually thought who in the world would do that when I first saw it, but now it has grown on me. I really like it! I wouldnt paint my truck that color but that truck could sit in my drive way any day.
