Re: Drivin weather in Texas again!

It's suppose to be 76 here tomorrow and I'll be sleeping most of it. I'm going to try and ride a little though, if not I may drive the 71 to work tomorrow night.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Drivin weather in Texas again!

what constitutes non-classic/cruising season there... to the extent of putting your classic away???
I lived there for 7 1/2 years, (temple/killeen/ft hood area) and the winters are cold, but nothing that would stress a car out. Not like they use salt, or get snow (a dusting every other year don't count) Overnight lows in the upper 20's is nothing to a car.

The fact that you could drive a classic all year round with no chance of salting your chassis was one of the few things texas had going for it IMO. (yeah yeah yeah, go ahead and flame me on that one)

Yep, you're right. Actually, in my case it's getting to be "no driving" weather. No A/C.
