I bought my project truck three years ago or so...Starting to get it together but I am missing misc bolts throughout the vehicle...My question is where is the best place to buy replacement bolts and best resource for what size/type bolts go where??
Thanks Clint

Re: Bolts....
GM dealerships are required to carry standard bolts (Grade 8 too!). Nothing modern uses standard bolts (They use Metric now days). Ask a parts manager if they'd sell you some. For them the bolts are a waste of space truly.

Re: Bolts....
There's a company called Lawson that carries nothing but bolts. As many shapes and sizes and coatings as they have, if they don't have it, it was never made. Brass, Zinc, Stainless, Gold Irridated, etc. I think they have a website but I can't recall it right now.

Re: Bolts....
OR,you can be cheap like me and get them at the U-Pull-It.
Around here the bolts are free when you buy parts! So,when I get parts,I just through a bunch of hardware in the wheelbarrow too! Mike. |
