$250.00 for the whole works, speaker box and console.

I had it covered with vinyl that looks just like leather, I can't remember the name of it. I like it so good, thinking about getting some more of the interior covered with it.

here's a pic of how it looks now.

I found some things I'm going to use for cup holders. They weren't exactly what I wanted, but it was the only thing I could find. They are a wire mesh pencil holder like thing. They look pretty good though.

Oh, I forgot to say, as you see, I have one edge of the shifter mounted on the seat frame. I had to do this in order to raise it up so the console would be higher at it's low point. I used a piece of 4x6 and shaped it fit the floor. I fastened it to the tranny tunnel from underneath and then bolted the shifter down. The top mounts on the shifter are fastened to the console too.

i haven't trimmed the base to fit the floor contour yet so mine is 'naked' too. the console looks sweet man!

Yes it does look familar. I see the truck shifter has a raised base to it already.

As far as the wire for the backup lights, to tell you the truth, damned if I remember right now. I found it in the group of wires that came from the column to the fuse panel. I looked in the manual and if I remember correctly, it was a green wire, but, there are more than one green wire. At first I cut the wrong one.

I'll look tomorrow and find out for sure for you. I think it was a medium green not sure.

Oh, also, I think you can tap into the backup switch at the bottom of the column too. I didn't feel like laying on my back looking under the column so I tied into the wire itself.

thnks mike. the truck shifter has an adjustable base that gives you like 2 or 3 inches of adjustment height wise. since the buckets sit a bit lower than the bench did i have it at the lowest setting which is in perfect reach from the driver seat.

That is a very good question, and one I believe there is no good answer for. From all I know and have read, they didn't have tilt columns in manual floor shifted trucks, so finding one would be out of the question. The only option I know of is no tilt and use a manual shifter column sleeve. I'm keeping my tilt column, so I was thinking of when I get it painted, have whoever paints it for me, to patch it somehow and paint it. I guess I could cut it off myself and do something, but right now, I think I'll leave it like it is. All I did was remove the shift lever.

makes sense, you could always weld a patch panel in there possibly.. kind of like shaving door handles.. then u also gotta deal with the useless gear indicator remaining on your dash..
I plan on doing this myself in the future so I'm just wonderin what everyone did to clean up the old leftover stuff..

I have a page on the speaker box and console both. I don't really have plans, but there is plenty of drawings and pics.

BTW, my console was built to sit on the frame of my aftermarket seats. If you have no frame, like Ryan, you will need to design the bottom of the base different. I have a drawing for both style bases. The one for no frame is a rough guesstimate only. I didn't check exact measurements. It would be all that hard to figure out though.
