Portland swap meet in April - good for 67-72 parts??

I am heading to Portland for the swap meet in April to hopefully find some much needed parts for my '71, and wondered what I can expect to see there? Does the show generally have a lot of good stuff for sale, or is it mostly Ford Model A items like the ones around my area? Thanks

if you have never been to the Portland swap meet then you are in for a pleasant surprise. you will find all kinds of great stuff i have been there the past five years in a row. i believe there is about 4500 vendors in total. when you see somthing of interest buy it cause you wont get back to it lol its awsome.

Last year there was a ton of 67-72 truck parts. I would imagine this year would be no different especially since these trucks are gaining in popularity.
I had a stall to sell parts but have to go to sunny, beautiful Puerto Rico instead.

I moved from Portland 5 years ago and the swap meets are the one thing I miss. They are the biggest and have the best parts of any swap meets I have been to, plus Oregon doesn't use salt on there roads only sand so there is a lot less rust.

You'll love the Swap Meet, and there are plenty of board members around there to hook up with.
Just put a call out on the board, vendors and members will gladly hook you up.

Bring comfortable shoes....your going to do a lot of walking.....I brought my first 72 down there in 92.I was in the line up to go park in the field, and i swear there was like 25 ,67-72 truck around me.I wish i was going ,but with the canuck buck at 76 cents the 25 percent premium is a bit to much to swallow.Have a blast though, you'll love it. I think Brothers is there ,or maybe it's The Truck Shop.....There is a ton of repop stuff ,or aleast there was the last time i was down(2006)

Is there usually a decent car corral there? We are probably dragging down a car trailer, so maybe I can find a whole donor truck. I will def put a call out to meet up with some board members before we leave, be nice to meet some new people with similar interests.

No car corral there, instead cars are all over the swap meet in stalls.

Re: Portland swap meet in April - good for 67-72 parts??

You should be able to locate plenty of 67-72 parts at this meet, its the only meet that I load up for and take my junk pile to anymore. I will be in the lower parking lot of the expo in stall space #'s 8268, 69, 70, 71 & 72 with plenty of 67-72 truck and 58-64 impala parts.

Re: Portland swap meet in April - good for 67-72 parts??

Hey HeavyD
here is a better pic of the burb just incase you see us on the side of the road broke down lol. Actually i would trust that old truck to go anywhere the only thing i am kind of concerned about is the new air ride as i have not really driven it yet so we will see. the Portland swap meet is big but that orange burb sure sticks out lol.

Hey nice Burb. I will keep an eye out for it at the show. I have to ride in a Hemi Dodge of all things. Glad a few of us are splitting the fuel bill.
