Door pins and Bushings, Big Job?

The drivers door sags a little when it is near the latching point. It is wearing the striker pin on the top. How hard is it to replace the pins and bushings? I want it to close like a new door again.

not that hard. It's easier to remove the door bolts first so the doors are off. Then, get a tqo pound maul/ hammer and tap the bottom side of the hinge pins. You might need a punch to help them along a little but then again your might just pop out, one of mine did just that. Pins and bushings kits are readily available at the parts stores.
Take a piece of chalk and scribe the outside of the hinge position on the door, it will save you lots of time lining up the doors when you re-bolt them.

I have power windows and locks so i dont really want to pull the door off.

I posted on this a while back. Do a search on LBJ's posts and you should find it. Easy with a Dremel cutoff wheel to cut the shafts in the middle and go from there. No need to remove the hinges or doors. a helper to hold the doors while working is nice though.

I just did this on my 93 this past saturday, it's different than yours because there's a spring but was pretty easy.

I usally have help myself, but I allways thought I could try using the engine hoist hooked to the top of the door, with a little padding around the chain of coarse.
