engine swap, 292 to a V8

I have a 67 4x4 3/4 ton with a 292 and a 4-speed, Will a V8 bolt right up to the existing bell housing. If so, then all is that I really need is the V8 and V8 engine mount brackets. Thanks for any input.

Yes a V8 will bolt up to the bellhousing. You will need a flywheel for the V8 and the engine towers.

Re: engine swap, 292 to a V8

That is one nice lookin 67. Say, I'm kinda lookin to go the opposite direction with my 68 4x4. I looing to use a 292 in place of what was originally was a V-8 truck and was wondering if you possibly be looking to sell the 292 mounting setup (which would be pretty much everything between the frame rails and under the engine) If you're still looking for a V8 setup, I might be able to help. Just PM me to let me know.

Thanks
Nick
