Buddy Bucket Question

Hello all. I installed a set of buddy buckets in my 72 a couple of weeks ago. The ride height is quite a bit higher than the stock bench. What is the best way to lower the ride height? I was thinking about taking off the seat sliders, would that work? Any ideas? I don't really want to drill any holes in the truck or the seat frame. Thanks
