RattelCan Paint Opinions>>
So I put this green on my K5 to get it back to all one color. A few years back I floped my rig over and then started playing around with spraypaint..basically making a mess
Not sure were I'm going at this point so I thought you all could provide me with your opinions. Some ideas are: Black flames on the front camo with black & brown re-do green with a more Olive Drab instead of Hunter Green. New Color? Leave it? Ideas?

Re: RattelCan Paint Opinions>>
Sorry, it's early ---
I was thinking like the old war planes that had marks on the side for the enemy planes they shot down, but use outlines of a Toyota Prius (or maybe a Jeep is more appropriate for where you drive).

Ahhhh cotcha!
I thought of making some kind of template: In this pic see the skull/bones, that is a magnet. I thought to make a template and do what you were saying about the marks with the skull-n-bones...and then like a big one on the hood... The good thing is whatever I do if I don't like it I can just spray over it and start over hahahahaha

Re: RattelCan Paint Opinions>>
No, the orange one is RyanB. His sheetmetal is removable for the trail, out on the dunes he is 'safe' from body damage. Altho thoes paddels throw up so much sand that the back bottom part of the fenders is showing clean steel after day two from all the sand blasting hahahaha
Camo Flames...hmmmmm I like the sound of that. So if green is my base color then what colors should the flames be? Black/Drk Green/Brown/lit brown/sand/grey.... I'm gonna goggle Camo Flames... Keep the ideas comming. Idea + Beer = New paint job!

Re: RattelCan Paint Opinions>>
I personally dig your K5 in the brown, but olive drab looks sweet too on a K5!

Re: RattelCan Paint Opinions>>
Thanks everyone.
I've allways like the OliveDrab w/black look. The green on there now is "Hunt Club Green" Ya YJ that brown is long gone now, after the flop at hollister I started painting the dents to keep the rust away: Then I painted the whole side olive drab and at BlazerFest some of my buddies did this: Made for a fun time but looked a little too gettho for me..like I was "tagged" Anyway! Happy FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

Re: RattelCan Paint Opinions>>
Hmmm ya I like it...never seen that one. My google search came up with a few ideas but not much. The decal thing is just not what I am after...rattle can paint is my primary tool, easy to change/repair and CHEEP Hey muddobber, that looks like a scan from a mag..have one of the hood? I like the 'not too much' approch.

Re: RattelCan Paint Opinions>>
No worries, ya half doors would be a sweet addition..someday..maybe more like tube doors, unless I score a set of doors to cut up
But that is way down on the Ta-Do list. Have a GREAT weekend All! Burt
