Go to www.edelbrock.com and then to their technical help section. You should be able to find what you need. When you click on Tech Support, you'll get a list. On the left side of the page, select Carburetors. When you do, you'll see a PDF link to download the owner's manual. It's 26 pages and you should just save it to your computer. That way, you'll always have it.

Re: Edelbrock performer series carbs

Have you checked any of the videos on the edelbrock site? On the DVD that came with mine there were some good side shots. Don't know which video in this list contained the side shots, but you might look here:

http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...ech_vids.shtml

My truck is in the shop right now, or I would take some pics. If the videos don't help or if no one posts before I get my truck back, I'll post a few pics for you.

EDIT: Here is another video...this one gives a good shot of the side towards the end that might help you:

For what it's worth.....the manual choke 1405 is jetted richer than the 1406. On my truck, I had a problem with it gas-fouling plugs. I'm not saying you'll have the same problem, but it's something to watch.
