doea anyone have a pic of a 72 Big block with AC brackets on the motor pic

I've found a truck but I think its missing some AC stuff, the owner says it isn't but I would like to see a pic of an original 72 BB motor with AC. Its been a long time since I've had a set up and my memory is terrible. Thanks Randy

Re: doea anyone have a pic of a 72 Big block with AC brackets on the motor pic

If nobody has anything tonight, give me a holler in the morning & I'll run out & snap a couple of pics.
I don't have anything saved on the computer.

If you had to rely on my memory to do it, you'd be truly screwed.

Here are a couple more.
If you need any more, different angle, larger/closer, etc.; just gimme a holler.

I'll be in & out all day, so the next batch, if needed, may take a while.

Hey Scott, your pictured setup is missing two of the nine brackets needed to make a complete setup, here are a couple more pictures to help ID bbc swp a/c pump mounting brackets (w/o smog equip).

Re: doea anyone have a pic of a 72 Big block with AC brackets on the motor pic

Hey Mel- All of the bbc trucks I have seen have only had the 7 brackets, including the 72 3/4 ton I got recently. I asked member Uncle about this, and he told me the 9 bracket set-up was found on the cars (chevelles, etc) only. He has parted out quite a few bbc trucks/cars over the years, so this sounded logical/plausible to me.

Great pic, and interesting info...I do not really know myself, but I am sure others will offer up their take on this as well.

THANKS for the pics guys!!! I appreciate it. I'll hopefully have the 72 longhorn Big Block here next weekend. Body is trash but it looks like everything else is there form the pics you've showed me and the ones I got. Got to drive 9 hours to get it home though. Thanks Randy
