ok
this may be a common problem but i couldn't find the answer on Google or on this sights search engine...but when i first start my engine it will idle really low and then stall unless i keep giving it a little gas....what could be the problem once my engine warms up its just find tho

Adjust the choke.
I assume its electric? Look at the left side (standing in front) and you'll see a black circular thing. Has 2 phillips screws.. undo them turn it to the left a bit and tighten down. You'll have to figure out where the best spot is. |

Actually there are three screws, but I agree the choke is not putting you into a "Cold Start" condition. Adjusting the choke bakelite actuator may not be what you need, LOOK at your linkage on the throttle linkage and see if there is a screw on the driver's side that is made to go against the choke plate actuated cam. This screw may need to be screwed in just a little to keep your idle at approximately 1200 RPM for just a short time to allow for engine warm up. In other words the choke plates may be closing OK and adjusting the plastic black thing is not needed, but just adjust the idle speed up a little while the choke is set. DO NOT adjust the normal idle screw, just the cold start idle screw.
