engine bay pics please...picked up a 71 v6...

wish i could post pics to show my concern. but i just moved into house, then went and picked up a 71. drove her home from philly to jersey. sounded a lot worse when i got her home than she did when i went to see her. oil pressure light kept coming on and off till i got the truck to my house. thank god i made it. thought she mighta blown on the way. truck is a 6 cylender. anyway what i was looking at today while changing oil, was in the bay. kinda, behind rad.. looks like rot might have gotten the best of truck. but not sure. id like to lower truck a.s.a. p. then look for a motor to replace the 6 with.
now keep in mind i dont have big pockets. have 2 kids, just moved into house.
93 1500 is daily. 71 will be weekend worrior. any pics will help greatley. not looking for motor pics of hopped up engines. sorry. one day i willl request that.

well that looks good. i plan to some day swap out the 6 for a 350 or something. but no time soon. looking for pic of the front part of engine bay. more to see frame, ends of inner wells and such. mine has some rot spots. not sure if im missing metal.
reason i cant post pics is, i just moved into a house and havent been able to find cable for camera.

The inner fenders and radiator support tend to rust out below the battery from the battery acid. Is this what you are looking at?
