disc brake conversion
i have a 70 c-10 with drums all around and im looking for a cheap disc brakes for the front in a six lug but the 71 and 72 c-10 are 5 lug disc does any ones know if a different year spindle/disc brake setup will fit with little to no modification???? any help would b great

Hvae you checked ECE? They have a 6 lug disc brake conversion.

'73-'87 A-arms, spindle, drag link, inner-outer tie rods, calipers, pads, brake hoses, proportioning valve, inner, outer bearing and seals. Add McGoughy 6 lug rotors, a bit of brake line re-routing and you are there.
Or get a prefab kit like Early Classic Enterprise has. Do a search for disc brake conversion. There are a bunch of threads on this.
