I love the radio shots. I'll have to show the ricer kid at work. When you have real V8 sound, you don't need 'screens' and neon-lit speaker boxes.

Great shots, did you use a digital or film cameras?

How many old vehicles do you have?.... wish mine were in that kinda shape. If I do closeups... all I'll get is rust

Thanks guys!! I'm all digital. Point & Shoot, auto focus, keeps it simple.

We've got a handful of old trucks and cars around here. Some of em are a bit more broken in then others...

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Everytime I take a picture, I always think
"how would Asa shoot this?"
You really make me look for that special angle or setting.
You've helped a lot of us become better photograpers.
(But I'll never be as Worthless as you)

Re: Saturday pics (3-21) Some details....

Thanks guys!

Yep, All I've been using is a couple of old point and shoot cameras. All of these shots were done with this one on the auto setting.

This is the factory cluster that we removed from the 54.

Brian carried the stock bezel along with one of the gauges to a friend that has access to some pretty serious equipment. He scanned all the dimensions in to a computer and was able to barely make all four fit in the space that we had to work with. He then laser cut us a panel from stainless. The turned design is actually a decal that's used for the restoration of dashboards and consoles of early 60s Impalas.

Todd, Your longstepper is lookin good! I'm diggin that second shot the best outta that bunch of pics.

I really enjoyed this batch of pics more then I have any others in awhile! Maybe it's just been a long winter!

Thanks guys!!

!
You can have the fanciest fantabulous camera in the world and still take crappy pictures. But if you have a good eye for composition and a few photo filter effects a person can go far even without all the fancy doodads.

I have a decent digital slr camera and it takes me a lot of shots to get one that comes out as cool as yours. Landscape stuff I can do, I just cant get the hang of what I call the cool "artsy" shots...Someday =)
