FS: Blazer firewall

This came with the 2wd Jimmy that i recently bought from Craig(LUV2XCLR8) and i dont need it. I honestly dont know much about this but if you have any questions that i cant answer then hopefully Craig will help you if you PM him. here are a couple of not so great pics...upside down and sideways lol. I'm asking $400 ~OBO~ I can deliver this to the maggie valley/Newport, TN show coming up soon free of charge! or of course pick-up only in northeast part of Tennessee(37641).

Re: FS: Blazer firewall

Basically it is a Complete A/C, Non cut dash, Firewall and
Windsheild unit with a perfect Windsheild frame. The unit
was cut from a Blazer/Jimmy as a whole because a lot of
these either have the Windsheild frame bad, the Firewall
has rust or even all of the above. It is an incredibly solid
unit and spliceable right where the floor pans hit into the
lower part of the Firewall. (The crease running across) It
is from a 4wd and set-up for the bolt in High hump cover.
Just PM me if you have any more ?'s if April can't answer.

Luv

Right now I don't have any trips planned over that way until maybe late summer. If I figure something out I'll get back to you.

Re: FS: Blazer firewall

Toot or Luv...I am finding more and more rust on my firewall/windshield frame, so this is sounding more tempting by the minute. Do ya'll know what year it is from? I don't think it matters as Blazers/Jimmys were all the same in this area, right? I know it is in incredible shape, but is there any rust or deep pitting ANYWHERE that you could show me with pics (other than the small hole I can see around the driver’s floor area)? I am particularly concerned with the kick panel vent areas. At least that’s where most of the previously unseen rust appeared on mine when I started tearing it down. Thanks!

Re: FS: Blazer firewall

That firewall came from a 1972 Jimmy in dry Western South Dakota. The tub itself didn't have all that bad of rust on it. When I bought it the seller lived 430 miles away from me in the Black Hills. He offered to bring it to within 50 miles of my house, but only had his truck bed to haul it with. So, he cut what you see off the tub for me.

I can vouch for Craig and Toot's words, the firewall and frame are in great shape. I don't remember the exact rust spots (there wasn't much if any), but I am sure Craig and Toot can fill in the blanks.
