Front drop shocks, best price

In my everlasting stupidity, I did end up putting my (and I didn't know) Nitrogen drop shocks on upside down. I could tell by how the bushings were pressed that the shocks were last mounted shaft down (Free shocks). Another member posted a question about these shocks and had them the same way (and got the OK from the few members that posted), so I figured I'd be fine. After about 2 weeks the shocks have gone from riding awesome to floating like a boat over bumps.

They are the Doetch Nitro slammers I found out, which run like 45/shock if I remember right. Any other shocks that provide the killer ride these did, but any cheaper? Just weighing my options before I plop down for new shocks. The truck isn't bouncing too bad (no more than my mom's 98 Jimmy used to, or how bad the original shocks were..) or bottoming out, but it is annoying.
