Who has the Perf Acces 3" Body lift?
Guys, Im installing new Urethane body bushings at the same time i do my 3" Performance Accessories body lift.
Well my blazer has 12 mounts, 6 each side. I noticed the body lift kit has 14 spacers instead of 12. 2 of them are a smaller diameter, and the directions doesnt say jack about which goes where. You guys run into this ever in your travels? Are they for spacing down the fan shroud or something? The kit just says "trim fan shroud to fit" Thanks!

I think it is because the kit fits trucks as well as Blazers and there is additional mounts on the trucks. I did a 2" body lift on my Blazer and it came with extra mounts and hardware as well.

Re: Who has the Perf Acces 3" Body lift?
Thanks team, I suspected that.
Here is another concern...It doesnt seem right that the diameter of the blocks are greater than the body bushings. You would think they would "fit" together better rather than overhang the edges. The blocks have spaces inside so there isnt even a nice flat surface for the area that does lay on the bushings to sit. Maybe I need to add the wide washer they send between the block and bushing, rather than between the block and body

Re: Who has the Perf Acces 3" Body lift?
I looked for a better pic but this will have to do. On the right you can see my 3"BL w/poly bushings. My poly is made by Energy Suspension, the BL is unkown as it was on my rig when I bought it back in '93. But as you can see the BL 'pucks' are wider than the poly. You can also see I have a big washer in-between the poly & the puck. I put the poly mounts in back in '94 and never had an issue with thoes mounts eversence. Just do NOT over tighten the bolt, you do not want to squeeze poly, it won't flex if it's bound up. I used nylon lock nuts to keep the bolts from comming loose. PS ~ after I bought my K5 in 93 and a friend told me about poly mounts, so I bought the kit and started in on the install...come to find out my K5 only had 5 of the 12 mounts secured to the frame crazy!
