What do you think?

I'm thinking about going and looking at this truck tomorrow... what do you think its worth? Any advice for me to consider?
Thanks,
Anthony

1973 Chevy C10 Cheyenne Super. Original 454 big block, 62,687 miles. Factory A/C, two-wheel drive. Straight body-minimal rust. Good interior-dash has no cracks. Nice complete truck

Re: What do you think?

Looks pretty sweet.

I would take the running boards off and drive it the way it is. I hate running boards.

Not sure of a price for it, maybe 2-3 G's?

Re: What do you think?

On the open market coming from a seller that has an idea of what it worth it should be listed in the 3500-4500 range.

I have seen them go lower, but the prices are rising on clean 73-87's even if they are LWB Pa-Paw trucks.

I agree with Ken. On a side note though. To make sure you have enough room for it. Why don't you bring me your white truck, and I'll take care of it for you!

I'm no expert on WIW's, but I just wanted to say that is an awesome, clean truck!

Re: What do you think?

looks like a nice truck, especially for this area, but the 20 ft. shots might be hiding something? T

Re: What do you think?

Man I dont know about the trucks in your area . Just kidding . You know what I paid for the 73 I bought . Compare it to that one . Basically the same mileage but with a bigblock .

Re: What do you think?

If everything checks out as legitimate, particularly the mileage, I'd say it would be every bit of the 4500-5K range in my neck of the woods.

Re: What do you think?

Anthony, that truck is def worth the $2500 he is asking. In fact, If I were looking at it and it checked out fine, I wouldn't even haggle on the price. Honest.

I also think you'll need speaker brackets for it too...

I second this amount. Minimal rust doesn’t bring much out here in California. The local junk guys are making a killing on these trucks. They receive donated trucks like this regularly. Sometimes I just want to cry because of how cheap they are and how easy people are just giving them up. Good luck on your buy.

Re: What do you think?

Hey guys just an update here: I haven't been unable to go and look at it. I do believe its a good deal for $2500 and its here on the local CL is any of you are interested. I wasn't in the market for another one (hell I cant even get my 87' completed)... but some deals I don't try and pass up. With that said there was another opportunity in investing that I chose to make within the last couple of days (and no its not in the stock market)!!
