Thumbs up glad I found this page

Hi Guys, I just registered today this looks like a great website. I need some help! I am building a 70 sw, (looks like a 71) and I need some help with a seat swap. I would like to stay with a bench seat and am thinking about trying to find and install a later model seat. Any ideas on the interchange? Also need seatbelts, black. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

are you looking for new or used seatbelts? I heard that a 90's bench out of a pickup bolts in without much mods.

Welcome to the club from the center of everything....ok, central Ohio.
This place rocks huh?
A very common seat swap is that out of the '88 - when ever Chevy C/K. You cn go with the split, or solid bench. Only draw back is they sit a little too hich, and if you are a little short for your weight, your thighs will rub on the wheel...even with the little 15 inch Grant GT.

Cool

Check my sig. it has some pics of the 60-40 out of a 89 with shoulder and lap belts installed. Just plug up old holes and drill new ones. I used big washers on bottom of cab for new bolts with grade 8 material.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

thank you all for the warm welcome, I am sure to have lots of Q's for you soon! as for the seatbelts I would love to find some nice used or new (black) shoulder or lap belts. I gus I'll need to take care of the seat first. It's nice to talk to people that have a clue about something other than hondas. HA HA. thanks again.
