Re: 22inch wheel back spacing on a 2wd blazer?

Yes, I run the C5 22x9 w/5.5" BS but be aware that they rubbed my tubs until I mod'ed them. This is partially due to the big rubber I went with: 305/40/22. Also, the Blazer/truck tubs/wells are not exactly the same as the Burbs, but are likely the same width. The bottom line is, depending on how low you want to go and tire selection, you may have to play with spacing and/or tub mods.

It probably will make a differance if you plan on lowering it with
springs vs. bags also. (Not an expert on this but what I heard)

Talking Re: 22inch wheel back spacing on a 2wd blazer?

thanks clos69 , for posting pics of my blazer . i am going to lower it a.s.a.p . frizzle fry , i went ahead and bought 22 's with 5 inch back spacing for the rear and i went with 5 1/2 inch back spacing for the front . from the looks of it, i think i will have enough room in the rear for my wheels . i also went with 265/35/22 tires so that i could be able to go a little lower . i plan on lowering it with 3 inch drops springs in the front and 2 inch home made lowering blocks that clos69 gave me . thanks for everyone's help . frank

Re: 22inch wheel back spacing on a 2wd blazer?

Can you run the same 5 inch back spacing in the front as well? Or does it need to be different? I wanted to order the Black Chrome in 22's.

If you are using a 22x9,... I would run the 5.5" BS on the front.
If you are using a 20x8.5,... go with the 5.25" BS on the front.

I would run the 5" BS on the rear and the 5.5" BS on the front.

Re: 22inch wheel back spacing on a 2wd blazer?

Thanks. I'm going to be running air in the front and back with a bolt in notch in my Blazer so I wanted to make sure which ones to order. Thanks again Lolife99. Not to highjack this thread to much but would you suggest what type or make of bags to use? I'm going to use the Accuair set up but I still have to buy the bags for the front and back plus the install kits for the front. I will be using new bag trailing arms for the back. Any advice would be appreciated.

Jim
