2nd opinion?

im going to be running air ride on my 67 c10 and have been looking at the trailing arm kits from cpp and art and im wondering if the advantages of either kit is worth the money or if i would be better off just installing bags onto the stock trailing arms thanks

Re: 2nd opinion?

In a nut shell, stick with your trailing arms. Do a search, this specific question has been discussed at length. Lot of good info...

Re: 2nd opinion?

I did a forum search on "trailing arms" and got several hits.

What condition are your stock arms in? If they are rusted out and need replacing then it's worth considering aftermaket units.

If they are in decent shape then the stock arms will work just fine.

You don't need to box them or reinforce the top and bottom, just run a stitch weld down the top and bottom seam. Don't notch them either. Guys are running 9 second 1/4 mile times with BBCs with the stock trailing arms.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
