Gotta Stay Off Craigslist
They don't rust here...they just grow moss...LOL! 133 wheelbase dually...would be nice with my halfhorn bed. Camper is trashed! Less than 90,000 miles on rig.

I think you need a tetanus shot for getting too close to that thing.

Re: Gotta Stay Off Craigslist
I don't see nothing wrong there that a sawzall won't fix.
If I were employed & in the "neighborhood", I'd be all over that baby like white on rice, dots on dice, & cold on ice.

Re: Gotta Stay Off Craigslist
I would not let my wife out of the car to look at it! When we drove up she said.."I've seen enough and I will never ride in that thing!". It certainly needs a chlorox bath and SAWZALL treatment! Gotta tell you that the cab, as usual on these old motorhomes, was pretty much spotless under all that moss.
I keep hearing a voice that says "Dually Longhorn"!

Re: Gotta Stay Off Craigslist
My Dad's '68 C20 had the spare on the nose like that. I have no idea why it was mounted there instead of being underneath, but he never moved it in all the years he had that truck.

Re: Gotta Stay Off Craigslist
Funny thing...there was one split rim on the left front. The spare on the grill was a standard 16 inch as were all the others on the truck. I guess it got removed once...LOL!

Re: Gotta Stay Off Craigslist
That is a perfectly sized hutch; too bad its gone. I don't remember seeing one that short. Am I mistaken or were most longer than that? Anyone have a pic of a similar size in better shape?

Re: Gotta Stay Off Craigslist
That has to be worth saving. You could always rip out the interior, sort the leaks and refit it.........

Re: Gotta Stay Off Craigslist
I would love to get my hands on one of these motorhomes, but I would have passed on this one. I would need to suit up in a hazmat suit, just to tear it apart
One question. Is the cab closed off from the rest of the motorhome? Or can you walk into the motorhome, from the cab area?

Re: Gotta Stay Off Craigslist
My Dad's '69 C20 had a nose mounted spare. I remember seeing a few around in those days. Didn't think too much of it at the time. Seems like we actually pulled it off a time or two for a flat tire.

Re: Gotta Stay Off Craigslist
Are you sure that is moss? The SPID does list "special paint".
Maybe that is the super ultra rare enviromentally friendly finish

Re: Gotta Stay Off Craigslist
Is there a way to unbolt the camper and slide it off the frame? I would worry about tearing that thing apart with all the mold in there. Breathe that crap and you could get pneumonia or something. I'd just dump the camper in the back 40 and set fire to it! If I brought something like that home my wife would kill me. She has asthma and is allergic to mold, this truck would literally kill her if she got within 2 feet of it!
