What heater/defroster are you guys using in your 47-53's? Any factory type units work good? Thanks.

Re: What Heater?

The factory deluxe heater works pretty good. But there some issues. First is the control valve. It is hard to find a good core to have rebuilt. Second is that it always vents fresh air. There is not an easy way to make the vent so it will close.

It's out of an 88' s10. I didn't like the fit on the firewall, but I can live with it for now. You have to move it vertical to fit. The inside is not bad, however I lost the glove box. As far as how it works, very well.

Re: What Heater?

I'm thinking of trying one of these units from Flex a lite.

They also sell this diffusor, but for the price, and the way it looks I'd probably try to make something myself.

Re: What Heater?

stan3018- I just checked out yogisinc.com. Units look very small and compact. Now I wish I would have waited and went that route.
