removing adhesive
What is the best way to remove the adhesive from the fake wood dash overlay?

I've used a product called "Sticker Shock" before with good results. It comes in a spray can and I think I got it at Auto Zone.

Zippo or ronosol lighter fluid works well if you have some around.

WD-40 works amazingly well and won't harm your finish.

I used just that to remove the adhesieve from the bed rails left over from removing the cap on my ford... I went to harbor freight and bough those cheap brushes and used the nylon bristle one and some wd 40 and the stuff came off real easy

Yep WD-40 works.. That and duck tape is all I need in my tool box.

It's a Southern thing I guess. If it moves and ain't supposed to, duct tape will fix it. If it's supposed to move and it won't, get out the WD-40.
