which should i use for a radiator support that has been sand blasted and a bit pitted in spots?? im thinking undercoating since i can get a textured look form that and it would fill in the pit holes....

Por-15

It is self-leveling, and you can also fill in the pit holes with it. It will permanently bond to the metal, and will never rust again.

i dont know about autozone. but Baxter auto parts sells it. i dont know if you have a baxters where you live but here they usually keep it in stock. if not then try your local auto body supply store, they should have it or something generic.

Autozone does not sell Por 15. There are a handful of vendors that carry it. One of them sells it on ebay, and I have bought from him with no problems. You can also order from them direct.

It is very cost effective. One of the small cans runs about 10 bucks or less. That alone is more than enought to do an entire chassis if it is thinned 20% and air brushed on. I think the pint cans run around $22 or so....been a while since I have had to buy some. Beware that once it is exposed to air, it cures pretty fast!

dont know what your budget is on the build...have you considered a spray-on bedliner type matirial?

we have a place here in canada called Line X they do the spray in bed liners, but they can spray it on whatever you like. that stuff it seriously tough, and it will seal right up and you'l have no rust issues every again.

Try your local auto paint supplier. A lot of them sell POR 15 or similar. If you can't find one, ask a local paint and body shop where they buy their paint/supplies. It will be somewhere local I'm sure.

they do line x at my work.. wasnt thinking to spend that kinda money.. ill check out the body shop supplier place tomorrow
