Exclamation 1st Gen. Engine X-member 69-72 Full Size Chevy/GMC

DIY4X crossmember never installed.

This is a complete kit that allows you to get rid of the old school engine mounts and upgrade to a better design all the way around. Oil pan access is a snap, pull the crossmember from the frame mount boxes and drop the pan with ease. All necessary hardware is included. Construction is primarily 1/4" thick steel.

$180 shipped.

Located in Boise, ID

Re: 1st Gen. Engine X-member 69-72 Full Size Chevy/GMC

I am very interested in the crossmember. I was wondering when you purchased this kit or how old it is or if it is the updated one? I know they have been updated since they first made them because of oil pan clearance issues. I have to replace mine cause the p.o. torched half of mine off to run 2wd shorty headers and it doesnt provide enough strength with a big lift and 37'' tires. Thanks for your time.

I bought it a year ago. March or April.
