Started my interior change over.
I started my interior redo this weekend, I thought I might get alot farther along than I did. The inside of the truck was a whole lot dirtier than I excepted, so there is a lot of cleaning I am doing.

Re: Started my interior change over.
Looks like the heater core or windshiled was leaking on the pass floor board at some point in time...if that is rust I am seeing in the pics.
Progress looks good, I personally enjoy interior work...it is a lot of fun and easy to do...and the results can be amazing. Good luck, keep us posted.

Re: Started my interior change over.
I am using Fat Mat, I bought the kit on thier website, $129.99 for 100 sf, looks like I will use about 50 sf when all done. I figured since my truck does not have the full interior (no head liner) I did not need to use the good stuff. Jeff yes the heater core was leaking when I bought the truck, I did not take any pictures but I did sand down the rust and slap some primer over it before installing the mat. I also have a small rust hole on the drivers side floor pan, (that is why the last piece in not installed) not sure what to do with it. I am thinking some rust inhibitor and some seam sealer, it is right in the corner of the floor board and the kick panel.

Re: Started my interior change over.
Be sure to do inside your doors and the back side of your door panels. You will be amazed at the difference.

Re: Started my interior change over.
There arn't any gaskets to be changed, just the heater core itself

Re: Started my interior change over.
I used the Fatmat also on my truck. Really good product, we compared it to some sheets of normal Dynamat we had and it seemed almost the same. But alot cheaper

Re: Started my interior change over.
I ordered the 100ft role, it comes in two 50ft roles, the 50 ft does not include the door panels and doors, so as LMDGUY said get the 100ft roll for sure, you will have extra but it is worth it. I am very impressed with the Fat Mat so far. I am going back as stock as I can with the interior, I don't have a pic of the door panels painted, and some of the other parts have been repainted because of the terrible color match on my first try (see pictures).

Re: Started my interior change over.
The seat I pulled from a junk yard truck and had a local shop throw on the new cover. I get most of my parts from a local shop here in the Houston area called Outback Truck Parts, they can get most anything and they try to get the best parts they can and I don't have to pay for shipping. I have ordered a few parts from LMC to.
