What axle tube ends?
I've been reading and I saw something about guys having different axle tube ends put on. This one guy(1987 shortwide) had ends put on that let him use his stock brakes and use a Ford 9" bearing so he didn't have to use c-clip elminators. I'd like to do that. Could ya'll tell me what housing ends/parts I need. Or atleast point me in the right direction. I have 8.5" 10bolt with stock drum brakes.
Here's 1987's thread where he mentions them. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...light=caltracs Will I need aftermarket axles right away, or can I run my stock ones until I can afford the good axles? |

Re: What axle tube ends?
C-clip eliminators are not recomended for street use. Call Moser on a housing end and axle conversion 260-726-6689

Re: What axle tube ends?
Cool. Thanks.
It's a track only vehicle. The only street time it'll see is a short trip to the loading dock on raceday and legal street racing events. |
