Fuel System Questions - TBI Swap

I about to start on a TBI retrofit into my second 1984 SWB and have bought a 1988 Suburban with a solid TBI 350/700R4 drivetrain.

I understand the wiring issues, but am unclear on the fuel system, and have a few questions for those who have done this swap before...

Can I use my 1984's single tank with a 1987 truck sending unit/pump or should I buy a complete 1987 tank and pump?

Is it possible to use the Suburban's pump and sending unit in the smaller truck tank?

What is the best way to do fuel lines? Can any of the 1984's system be used or should I purchase new 1987 SWB hard lines?

Thanks.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking about doing... How did you shorten it?
