BBC accessory brackets

I just bought a 454 from a local wrecking yard for $600. Complete from air cleaner to oil pan with all accessories and brackets including air conditioning. The engine I beleive is a 75 model. What side is the A/C supposed to be on in our trucks? Just wondering because the A/C on this engine is on the drivers side. I didn't know if our trucks originally had it on the pass side or not. Anyone have an idea of how much these brackets go for with all accessories? I am switching to a serp belt set-up and wont be using these. Will trade for a serp belt set-up for a BBC if someone has one laying around. Thanks

Re: BBC accessory brackets

AC is on the pass side along with the 'short' water pump.

Re: BBC accessory brackets

Our trucks had short water pumps...A/C is on the pass side.

This engine you bought has a long water pump...that is why A/C is on the drivers side.

The A/C, alt brackets, pullies, power steering are different.

Re: BBC accessory brackets

ac is supposed to b on pass side but you can use the setup you have by having custom hoses made up
