1971 Vacumm Booster Pushrod Too Long

As the title states my pushrod is too long by about 1 1/2". I think it is about
4". I need one that is about 2.5". From what I could see there are two different lengths depending on booster make.

Does anyone know whereI can get a short one, or can i just cut down the longer one? If I do cut i will not have adjustment...

What about newer Chevy/GMC trucks do they use the shorter pushrod? I could check the wreckers, but don't know where to start.

Reason for change is I'm using the 76 Blazer M/C . I guess that would be the first truck to look at!

Foosified I think you answered your own question. I do know that Stainless Steel Brake sells an adjustable plunger rod.
