Re: Once upon a C/10
sweet rides!
You DO know the 68 LWB turned SWB is probably a 50th annv truck, right? That first pic, the 68 with the 71/72 bumper... that thing looks SWEET! |

Yes, I was aware, the photos don't do it justice. That pick up was sooooo clean, you can see the only two small dents were in the bed, and a little rot in driver side floor, other then that it was really nice one owner truck. 71/72 bumper on a 67/68 I've done a few times, I think it makes the grill area look alot cleaner.

Re: Once upon a C/10
have you ever used that night shades spray on lenses?
It's the best of both worlds. The lenses totally disapear untill they get lit up, and the bumper stays smooth (or kerfagled and bent up like a mo-fo like on mine) |

Re: Once upon a C/10
Yeah, not very many were made... Something like 3,800 thats really not alot, and most of them were used for maintance. (So junked when done with.) not to easy to find,The guy who bought it had a painting business I believe. This one had a six banger and granny gear

Lovin' the 50th shorty conversion! Is this where it still sits, or have you accomplished more on it?

Re: Once upon a C/10
Well, A friend of mine bought it about 2 years ago as a long bed, hired my cousin to cut it down, picked it up and........... Its been sitting ever since, But there's no doubt in my mind that he will finish right one day, It's too nice not to.
