interesting mirror
this is original for my truck and I have yet to see another like it. I asked the PO/OO about it and he said "it was there when I bought the truck".
you can barely make it out but he bought it on 5-23-68 Last edited by 68C15; 04-05-2009 at 09:18 PM. |

Re: interesting mirror
Unique mirror for sure - but the dealer was an implement company ? Did they sell tractors, combines and trucks too ?

Re: interesting mirror
Looks like it didn't come with a mirror and that's the one the dealer stuck on it. I don't see any other holes.

Re: interesting mirror
Yeah, it sure looks like it was a dealer add-on..... not OEM. The mounting screw looks like it came from a hardware store....

Re: interesting mirror
exactly. This was a dealers instalation.
If it isn't on the SPID, then it didn't have one stock (67 - 69) they were optional untill 70. |

Re: interesting mirror
bummer about no spid.
Yeah, it was optional till 70. Funny thing though, even though GM had it as an option, the feds required them starting in january of 69. GM got over on that one. Most trucks have had them added since then though, either junk yard, GM accesory, or left over GM stuff like in the above photo. |
