Turbo 350 transmission lines

On the transmission cooler lines is there an order in which they got. I forgot the way I took them off a few weeks ago, I have them hooked up from the transmission to the radiator top cooler port on the transmission to top port on the radiator, and bottom to bottom. Is this correct? Or does it matter?

I di learn that the return line is at the top port on the transmission, here is a good web site for that but no diagram. http://www.txchange.com/cooler.htm

Re: Turbo 350 transmission lines

The 350th has the same routing as a 700R4.
http://www.tciauto.com/Products/Tech...r_fittings.asp

Transmission bottom to radiator top. Radiator bottom to tranny top. If you're running an external cooler: tranny bottom to radiator top, radiator bottom to cooler top, cooler bottom to tranny top.

Re: Turbo 350 transmission lines

You must have an aftermarket radiator. Trace the lines back to the transmission. Find the supply and return lines.

Re: Turbo 350 transmission lines

THM 350 cooler line ports
Got yer info right here, straight from a 1980 Chevrolet Light Duty Truck Service Manual:
page 7A-17, upper left hand corner, shows a picture of a Turbo 350, with a label for the upper port as the pressure line to the radiator, and the lower port as the suction line (return) from the radiator.
