The nut is loose, but it just keeps on spinning. Is there a trick?

Re: How dose this come off???
that little hole next to the key is a release for the lock cylinder,I don't remember exactly what had to happen but I think the key has to be in it and then slide a straight pin into the hole then turn or pull the lock cylinder out.anyway you get the idea, the nut wont come off past the cylinder cover so cylinder must first be removed....good luck

Re: How dose this come off???
you have to pull the lock cylinder out first. You turn the key to the left and insert a paper clip or small Allen wrench in the small hole. push hard on the Allen wrench and turn key to left and pull out. May need to spray lube or graphite in the small hole

Re: How dose this come off???
It does go back together pretty darn easy, just line all the tabs up correctly, screw the face back on, line up the pin hole with the tumbler and turn the switch with a screw driver if it has changed positions internally until it all aligns back up and push the tumbler back in(easily) with the key and turn it to acc/on/start so you know it all works again...took me 5 minutes to get it done
