Newbie Question about Wheels

Hey guys..... I'm new here. I recently aquired my paps 87 GMC Sierra shortbed. I'm not new to cars or trucks, but I do have a newbie question.
My is in great shape for its age. I really could just throw a fresh coat of paint on it and call it done, but what fun would that be.

The Truck is a 2 WD shortbed with dual tanks and has a chevy 350 in it.
The primary use of the truck will be for funning around.... and must still be able to pull a tag a long camper.... 20ft now... soon to upgrade to 30 ft

Now, I want to do a few small things to the truck....
New wheels, billet grill, tonneau cover, and paint.....

Question is .....

I have found a set Chrome wheels/ with tires from a 90 Chevy SS 454 Special truck
Will they fit?

http://www.finishlinewheels.com/CHEV...93/S-01670U85/

The wheels come with new Daytona tires 255/70/R15

I am not sure what the back spacing is of this wheel or even if this would be the look I should have ..... I really like the look of the American racing Torque Thrust II, Cragar SS, and even the American Outlaw II wheels.....

Wheels are very important to the overall look... I know, but I think this might be a good deal if they fit....

Thanks in advance!

Re: Newbie Question about Wheels

Thanks for the reply.... I know everyone likes pics.... but I am at work right now.... lol
I'll get pics up as soon as I can... how do you get pics up?

So 500.00 bones for a set of 4 SS wheels and new tires is a good deal...

Opinions on these wheels?

or Should I just keep saving and get an aftermarket wheel?

Re: Newbie Question about Wheels

Welcome to the boards. Wheels and tires are no place to slack off at. If you aren't sure you would like the 454SS wheels, then I would wait. If you are sure you like the look then $500 isn't a bad deal. Just depends on the look you are wanting.

Re: Newbie Question about Wheels

Your right.... I get side tracked by "good deals" .....

Next question.....
I don't want to lower the truck because I will be towing with it....
What size tires would look good on the truck ..... 255/70's
I will likely stick to 15 inch rims....
