anything i need to know about a automatic swap??(4x4)

hey, on my 67 it is now a 292 3 on the tree deal, coming real soon im pulling the engine, trans, transfercase, and column. i have everything i need for the swap. im putting in a 383 stroker, th350 and a np205 transfercase. will the bolts and everthing bolt up from the old tranny and transfercase? or will i have to end up drilling stuff. also im putting in a tilt column thanks alot guys..

The top parts off the frame for the engine mounts need to be changed,,... the 292 mounts are in different locations than necessary for the V8. The rockwell transfer case which is probably in your truck now will use u-joint type connections for the drive shafts... depending on the year your np205 is from you may have a need for different type mounts for affixing the drive shafts to the transfer case. If the NP is from between 70-75 you should be OK.

Check the 4x4 board. This has been discussed there at least a couple of times.

i have a V8 crossmember, and the transfercase is out of a 72 gmc burb.
