That is very sharp! I like it! I've always thought Hoes looked good lowered down a little with that kind of stance.
Nice work.

Re: Daily Driven (not-so-stock) '05 Yukon
I have de-badged and removed the pinstriping; it also has a set of LED tails. I hate the stock amber lights. There is a whole laundry list of other mods yet to be accomplished- this is only the beginning...

Re: Daily Driven (not-so-stock) '05 Yukon
What did it take to lower it; I understand it is a bit more complicated than lowering a truck?

Re: Daily Driven (not-so-stock) '05 Yukon
Did that affect the traction control or anything? I don't think the wife will let me touch her 05 Tahoe.. That looks pretty sharp though... what's it cost to lower a ride like that?

Re: Daily Driven (not-so-stock) '05 Yukon
Looks very nice. It looks like what a sporty factory GMC Yukon GT in the GMT800 body style would look like if it ever existed. The 20’s look nice especially without the bling. Very tastefully done!

Very nice . I have a couple questions...
What size tire? Any tire rubbing issues? Do you know the backspacing of the wheels? Thanks. |

Re: Daily Driven (not-so-stock) '05 Yukon
gringoloco -
I'm thinking about running these wheels on my 05 Suburban. The burb will be on air and sitting with a ride height of 4 1/2" front and 6" rear drop and 2" lower when aired out. Based on your experience running these wheels/tires @ a 3/5 drop do you think they will work with my setup? Thanks! |

Re: Daily Driven (not-so-stock) '05 Yukon
4.5/6 is a big drop on these trucks. You may be in for some rubbing issues. My rears tuck when aired out. Any lower up front and I think I would have problems...

Re: Daily Driven (not-so-stock) '05 Yukon
They're not that bad. My dad has a set like those, I think he got them for around $150 on ebay.
Here's a set on there now, they are just like my dad's, and from the picture look very similar if not the same as Gringo's. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-02...Q5fAccessories

Thanks! Sorry, no aired-out pics. It tucked a little tire, but not much. It has Eibach coils on it now...
